Jack's Appeal, a heart health charity, honors the memory of Jack Thomas, a vibrant young athlete who tragically passed away from an undiagnosed heart condition in 2012. Our mission is to prevent such heart-related tragedies. We've equipped schools, sports clubs, and communities in Gwent with life-saving AEDs. Jack's Appeal collaborates with "Cardiac Risk in the Young" to provide free heart screenings across South Wales.
Our proudest achievement, #JacksLaw, pushes for mandatory AED availability in public places across Wales. They're also active partners with #SaveALifeCymru, dedicated to preserving Jack's memory.
Jack's Appeal is not-for-profit, with funds going back into their charitable work. We provide valuable information and advice on out-of-hospital cardiac arrests and lifesaving equipment. You can support us through donations to purchase defibrillators and related equipment.
Stay updated by following us on social media, and watch the award-winning video about Jack's journey. We offer free CPR/Defib awareness training.
Help Jack's Appeal keep hearts beating - donate today, and together, let's save lives in Jack's memory.
